All students in 4th -12th grade are invited to attend. Students must live and go to school in NJ to qualify. Entries (digitial copies of your product or service) need be sent via email as we will not accept mailed entries. We have opened up the creative window here to include any product or service that improves the environment, cuts down on waste or is just a greener way of doing something. A sample product idea may include designing a reusable bag, a food composter or even a new way to power your school. Think big if you are going to be thinking anyways...
Students do not need to make the product or actually provide the service as we will only be judging entries on the following factors:
A. The digital model/picture of the service/product submited
B. A detailed description of the product or service. Include estimated manufacturing costs, materials used, what makes it green, ect. (300 word minimum description)
To enter the contest you will need to include in your email:
1. Name
2. Age
3. School
4. Contact info (phone number or email)
5. Attach your entry as a JPEG or PDF. (2MB limit)
We are limiting the size of the design of your product or service (attachment) to 2MB. If this is a problem please contact us. Three finalist we be selected as award winners with a top prize of $1000.
